Do you have a nostalgic memory from the 2000s: installing OS-wide windows xp themes (later on, windows gadgets in vista/7) from questionable sources and desperately hoping i don't land on one with a trojan because i didn't feel like having an antivirus. i never got hit with a trojan.

hi would be really really nice if you listed credits for what music are used when swapping themes in the website with Sounds ON. the website saves them as merely "theme_[theme].mp3" with no credits section for them and i wanna know Dark Aero's so BADLY. i do recognize Frutiger Aero's though it's the Wii U Mii Maker theme 5 seconds in, good taste.

I didn't think of that, I will add it later, but in the meantime here are the songs: Longhorn: Steve Mushrush - Joy Sharing Frutiger Aero: Nintendo Wii U - Mii Maker Editing Mii (TV + Gamepad) Dark Aero: DJ Melodie - What You Need Nightcore: Manian - Ravers Fantasy Y2K: Bôa - Duvet Hatsune Miku: Anamanaguchi - Miku ft. Hatsune Miku Kasane Teto: Teto Territory Kagamine Rin/Len: Kokoro - Rin Kagamine Touhou: Bad Apple K-On: Cagayake! GIRLS! | Kana

Do you have a nostalgic memory from the 2000s: While I may be in my early 20's, I do remember booting up a Windows Vista configuration for the first time and it was amazing but I miss those times where computer operating systems had Aero on everything you looked at.

I discovered this website on a September afternoon back in 2024 and while it has changed (in a really good way) since then, this website is the go-to for literally everything Aero-related. My favourite part about The Frutiger Aero Archive has to be the MASSIVE collection of wallpapers. I also LOVE the customisation links. If I was rating The Archive 1 out of 1000, I would give it a 980. My reason for the total loss of 20 in the scoring is because the website needs a universal back button to save time. But over all, this is the coolest website I have ever seen!

thanks a lot! that is almost 2 years ago, crazy to think about. Also, there is a back button on the wallpapers/resources/icons page, I don't really get your point (sorry.)

If you do plan to use explorer7, be aware it does NOT work on Windows 11 anymore, and I do not think the developers plan on trying to get it to work on Windows 11 anytime soon.

Do you have a nostalgic memory from the 2000s: Does obsessing over the backgrounds in Cromartie High School count?

Have you added explorer7 to the list of tools? It is a wrapper library that runs the version of explorer from Windows 7 completely natively on Windows 10. Keep in mind, to use it, you will need a version of the explorer.exe from Windows 7 for your architecture on hand to use it. Link is: github.com/world-windows-federation/explorer7/releases
