What's something you'd like to see added on the site: well, not this site, as it's fine the way it is. but a windows XP-themed site would be mind-blowing.

this is arguably the most well designed site i've ever seen that matches what most professional sites would look like in the mid-late 2000s. i'm assuming the main screen is mostly made of images, and the windows logo along with the background and the header changes colour/switches when you press "Themes". question is, how'd you even do this? i know this isn't just only with HTML and CSS. thanks btw.

Most of it is CSS actually, with gradients and such. For the themes I add a new CSS file to the head with JavaScript, that CSS file overwrites the default ones, for the windows logo I don't change the Image I just shift the hue with css filter property. I do change the header images though. the JS for that can be found here: https://frutigeraeroarchive.org/javascript/navbar.js

Most of the Aero effects on my site are CSS gradients (linear-gradient), you can use the inspect tool to see how I did it. I recommend going on old websites and use the same fonts (For mine, I chose Segoe UI from the Windows 7 website). Let me know if you want to know something in particular.
